What is it?

PlanAlign is an organizational planning tool.  Just as each person in the company uses a planner for day-to-day organization, PlanAlign helps the whole company organize and align itself towards the common goals of the company on a daily basis.

How does it work?

Once PlanAlign is installed and access provided for every employee in the company, as part of their daily routine, they open PlanAlign first thing in the morning.  PlanAlign will show them a list of all the pending tasks that they have including those assigned by their supervisors.  They then plan their work for the day accordingly and as they complete their tasks, they start marking progress of each of the tasks in PlanAlign.  Managers will also follow a similar routine except that they can also assign tasks to their subordinates and track their progress.

Once you purchase PlanAlign, Ziac softwares will ship you the software and help you install and set it up on your company network.  It is a simple process of installation.

 

·         Create and setup organization chart

The next step is to input your organization chart into the software.  If your company does not have an organization chart designed yet, this is the time to do it.  If you need help in this area, Ziac softwares representatives can sit with you and prepare and guide you through the organization chart design.

 

·         Establish a project/task inventory

Collect project list or task lists of every single employee in the company.  Enter these tasks in PlanAlign so that they can all be monitored in the central database.  This is a major step in the implementation and is very important that all employees’ and managers’ tasks are input into PlanAlign.  If you wish, Ziac softwares representatives will be happy to help you through this step.

 

·         Provide system training to your administrator

Ziac softwares will educate your system administrator regarding the technical aspects of maintaining the PlanAlign database, security, employee profiles etc. 

 

·         Provide system training to all employees

Ziac softwares will provide a training session to all employees on how to use the software.  Since this is not a complicated system, it is a very simple training session that may last an hour or so.
